I worked as a public educator with the Wilderness Committee in Canada before moving abroad to teach English in Korea.

When I returned, I lived off-the-grid while supporting a Waldorf-inspired homeschool, which taught me the value of learning rooted in creativity, resilience, and community. I later came to the Bay Area, where I earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a public charter school in East Oakland. Along the way, I’ve also completed a Waldorf Certificate, a TESOL Certificate, and professional development in self-directed learning.

These experiences have shaped my belief that education should be responsive, hands-on, and supportive of each learner’s individuality.
